Post- en telecomwaakhond Opta en het College Bescherming Persoongegevens (CBP) hanteren vier voorwaarden. Zo mag de website de gegevens niet gebruiken voor andere doeleinden en moet voor de vriend of bekende duidelijk zijn via wie de e-mail is gestuurd.
Zo kan de ontvanger diegene aanspreken als hij niet gediend is van dergelijk mails.
Beloning
Ook moet de afzender volledige inzage hebben in het bericht dat wordt verstuurd. Bovendien mag de website geen beloning geven aan de afzender of de ontvanger van de e-mail.

When trying to understand the value of a link a variety of factors can be considered, including:
- PageRank / link equity
- anchor text (if you can influence it to align with your keywords that increases the value significantly)
- link location (inline links are more likely to be trusted than links in the footer of a page near a bunch of other obvious paid links)
- direct traffic the link sends
- site quality & brand exposure
- endorsement value (if any is given)

Our Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide covers around a dozen common areas that webmasters might consider optimizing. We felt that these areas (like improving title and description meta tags, URL structure, site navigation, content creation, anchor text, and more) would apply to webmasters of all experience levels and sites of all sizes and types. Throughout the guide, we also worked in many illustrations, pitfalls to avoid, and links to other resources that help expand our explanation of the topics. We plan on updating the guide at regular intervals with new optimization suggestions and to keep the technical advice current.
