I was playing with a the Simple Textboxes plugin which uses shortcodes. A most of my content is now encapsulated in these shortcodes. I used a keyword density analyzer to help me identify any keywords I might be neglecting in my list and to my surprise it couldn’t find my content…because of the shortcodes I suspect. This got me wondering if the search engine bots will have the same problem.

Do you know if there is an SEO problem created when using shortcodes this way?

    Thanks,
